_____As you take the first sip, Carla walks in. Her cotton white tee-shirt and hip hugging jeans beautifully showcase her curves. The waitress escorts her over to the table. "I hope I didn't take too long." Though she is smiling, her deep brown eyes look tired.
_____"No, but even if you did, you'd be worth the wait." You stand to give her a hug and she is a perfect fit. Resisting the urge to pat her on the ass, you give her an extra squeeze.
_____"Careful, my body is aching. I've been helping my aunt move. Actually, I did all the moving, she just pointed to where she wanted things placed."
_____"Sounds like you can use a massage."
_____"Mmmhmm, and some sleep. I had to get out tonight, though. I've been inhaling dust all day."
_____You pull out her chair for her. "Come on, let's get some food inside of you. That'll make you feel better."
_____ One good thing about Sabrina's Cafe, the kitchen offered a variety of delights. Carla opts for a crab cake sandwich and you have the sweet potato fries. Mild flirting and small talk fill the empty space until your meals come.
_____For dessert, the two of you decide to share a bowl of fresh berries and cream. Carla's very presence is enchanting. When she brings a raspberry to her luscious lips, you imagine those same lips encircling your clit and a jolt of pleasure surges through you. Though you should have expected it, her next question catches you completely off guard. "You usually see me and run the other way. How come?"
_____"Well, there was a rumor that you had a crush on me."
_____"True. It wasn't a secret."
_____"I was attracted to you too, but I it was better to avoid temptation."
_____"Girlfriend?"
_____"No. Actually, I had just gotten out of a relationship and drama was still going on. On top of that, I swore never to date anyone at my job or people new to the life."
_____"Well, what's different tonight?"
_____"Usually, when I categorize a woman as off limits, my feelings for her die down. That didn't happen with you. If it's not too late, I want to listen to my heart instead of my fears. I still want to get to know you better, listen to my heart instead of my fears. If it's not to late."
_____Carla silently contemplates the offer. "It's not to late."
_____The waitress slides the check between the two of you. "Ladies, we love your company but it's closing time." A quick look around confirms it--you are the only ones left.
_____Before you can reach for your wallet, Carla has settled the bill. "I've got this. Shall we continue this conversation over a nightcap?"
_____A nightcap could easily turn into breakfast. "I know a lounge that's still open." You lightly stroke her palm. "Of course, if you'd like a more intimate setting..."
_____Carla's eyes sparkle with mischief. "Your place or mine?"
