_____You don't want this to escalate into a full-fledged argument. You grab Donna's outstretched hand and, in a move worthy of a ballroom dancer, pull her into your arms. "I am sorry. I know it's wrong, but I still think of you as my girl."
_____Donna is not pushing you way, but she feels rigid. "You never treated me like I was."
_____Taking a deep breath, you try to sound sincere. "I know. I've been a player for a long time. It's hard to let my guard down, but I want to try with you."
You transform the hug into a fierce a neck rub. Your skilled fingers begin breaking through the tension in her tight shoulders. The soft moaning coming from her throat lets you know that she is definitely enjoying your touch.
_____Your pager goes off, breaking the mood. Damn! You forgot to switch it to vibrate. Who the hell could it be? Donna grabs the pager out of your hands. "Hey, give that back!"
_____Donna holds you off while she scrolls through the messages. Satisfied, she tosses the pager on the coffee table, crosses her arms and glares at you. "Get your shit and get out of here."
_____You pick the pager up and put necklace in its place, all the while avoiding eye contact. You are barely on the porch when the door slams behind you. Yep, you can cross Donna off that "potential booty" list.
_____Suddenly, your embarrassment turns to anger. Who was it that messed up your groove? You scroll through your messages and can't believe the name that flashes back at you. Sylvia, damn!
*
_____You think about calling Sylvia back, but the idea vanishes almost as soon as it appears. The last time you were with her, she handcuffed you to the bedpost. Now, you don't have a problem with bondage and the sex that night was fantastic, but, after it was over, Sylvia went to the store--without freeing you. What should have been a ten minute jot around the corner turned into 3 hours of you trying to get free without dislocating your wrist.
_____If only you had kept your mouth shut. Donna probably would have gotten rid of the guy herself and then you two could have gone buck wild in front of the fireplace.
_____Well, it's not too late. You still have a few options open. Perhaps you should check out the scene at Lacy's or try calling your luscious co-worker again. Then again, maybe you should just call it a night.
Go home
Go to Lacy's.
