_____You decide to take a quick, hot shower before seeing Donna. The honey lemon bath gel foams up on your skin, crating a thick, luscious lather. It feels like fingertips lightly stroking and teasing your body. You need to get to Donna quickly or you are going to explode.
_____Toweling off quickly, you slip on a pair of black jeans and a vest. A quick check in the mirror and you are ready to go.
_____You take the necklace off of the dresser. Besides your memories, it is the only thing that still connects you with Donna. You don't really want to part with it, but a deal is a deal. Slipping the necklace in your pocket, you grab a jacket and head out.
_____Despite what the weatherman said, it is a beautiful night. You throw your jacket in the trunk ride with the top down. You love feeling the warm spring air flowing through your hair and messaging your scalp.
_____Twenty minutes later you pull into Donna's driveway. There is a dull, glowing light in the livingroom; the fireplace must be lit. You pop in a breath mint and pray that Donna's mood has improved.
_____Donna answers the door with her chocolate brown body tightly wrapped in a white robe. She had cut her shoulder length hair to reveal more of her face. No more hiding those sexy eyes behind a wall of bangs. "I didn't expect you so soon. Punctuality was never high on your list of priorities." Her tone is serious, but at least she's smiling. You haven't seen her smile in a long while.
_____"A woman has a right to change her ways," you respond. When Donna turns around, you notice her legs have better definition. She's been working out. You wonder how long it's going to take to get her out of that robe.
_____You walk in and are greeted by the smell of incense. There is a fire going, two glasses of wine on the coffee table, . . . and a guy sitting on the sofa. You two exchange a what-the-hell-are-you-doing-here look.
_____Now that you think of it, Donna's smile did seem more like a smirk. You're not sure what you've just walked into, but it doesn't feel comfortable. There's nothing like a man to kill your libido.
