Our arms and legs lie twisted within your sheets, the aftermath of a night of passion
We lie still as if recovering from a sudden storm that hit us unaware
A smile rises from you as I exhaled softly and whisper my appreciation
Our hands creep across the passion tossed sheets as we face each other
With knowing glances of being at this place only the week before
We both work and our jobs had extended its tentacles into our home that night
We discussed options of amusements and had settled on the same ole' thing
Watching the 25 inch and laughing at tired plots of TV shows
But a glance, a gesture, a grin, altered our reality
Without thinking we shed our clothes and our inhibitions
On the couch, on the floor, on the table, on the bed
Around and around we went, knowing we didn't want to stop
Sighs, moans, screams of passion erupted as we tested the laws of gravity
Finally, we slept, cooled by a soaking wet sheets
As I unraveled myself to fix us our cup of coffee, you creep behind me and kiss my neck making me
grow moist in appreciation of last night and anticipation of tonight
Some would say that our love isn't natural, it shouldn't be allowed
But who would rather be straight when it's so much fun being twisted
