“I don’t want your girl and your girl doesn’t want me”

You’re not the first person to say that, so what makes you think I can trust you?
You complement her on her body structure, you both plan your weekends around each other’s.
Instead of calling the girl you are interested in, you call my girl anytime you feel the need.
So say those words you just said again.

You’re not the first and you probably won’t be the last. I don’t know you,
your background or your herstory. Being that you all hand in the same circle
I can’t help but watch my back. Birds of a feather flock together and I see
similar traits. The one before you said the exact same things but used
different words. Before I knew it, her and my girl was making intimate
plans. In order for them to feel better about themselves, they blamed it
all on me.

There’s a thin line between friendship and attraction and I’ve seen this
pattern before. Don’t cross the bridge for the bottom will fall out and
you’ll drown.

I love her with all that’s in me but I refuse to be burned 3 times. So
respect mine and I continue to respect you. Be careful of what you say and
do because it always comes back to you.
