I have been waiting all my life for Princess Charming to come.

I thought I heard the bells and whistles.

I thought I saw her locks flowing in the breeze as she stood
on a mountain top and mounted that white stallion.

I thought I heard her yell up to me while I was perched high in the tower,
"Repunzel, Repunzel let your hair down."

I thought I felt her strong, chocolate arms pick me up and whisk me away to
our castle in the sky where we made love.. oh hell honey, it was lust we
made in them sheets.

I thought..

as I was abruptly shaken awake from my dream at the stroke of midnight,

I stand back. Eyes wide open. Smile from ear to ear. arms open wide.

I have been waiting all my life for Princess Charming to come.
Here she is standing before me,

drunk.

I see, my Princess Charming glassy eyes, bad breath, clothes stained,
struggling to keep her balance.

Charm is what she didn't have when she tried to kiss my hungry lips.

I have been waiting all my life for Princess Charming to come.
Maybe I need to stop looking in the bars.
