Webster defines the word out to be in a direction away from the inside or the middle.

However; my experience was neither moving "in a direction away from the inside or the middle," of anything. You see, I came out by force! I wasn't given a choice!!

I was told to come "clean" with my family or she would become "mean." All the secrets we held; all the dreams we shared. . . would become my nightmare all because she didn't care!

She could only see that I didn't want her anymore. Not that she had made my heart sore! She lied and cheated and became a whore; yet I loved her despite the feeling of being washed ashore.

It ended! And I cried for days. How could I have been so blind and hidden in the shade. Then I met the stud of my dreams! Just to look at her made me cream!

She was out! She was gay and proud and didn't mind shouting it out loud! She was my stud and I her queen! We were a couple for all to be seen!! OUT!!!

OUT AND ABOUT I AM!!
