Right now my heart is calm and cool
But the other day it was lit by a burning flame
My heart had me acting like a fool
Who quickly needed to be tamed
I couldn’t do anything but cry
I couldn’t even speak
As my heart had tears coming from my eyes
I could feel my breathing get weak
I wondered was this the way life ends
And why was everything getting black
I asked myself is this the way life begins
And how you life gets back on track
Couldmy heart take the pain
If I started to love you and you became untrue
My heart will never be red again
Just a really bright blue.
