Untouchable places
I hide
them from all
all that come near
unknowingly
shielding
running from
the
world

You ask nothing
of me
Yet I fear
you most
the one whose
heart
appears to speak
of truth
unconditional
concern

Why now
where have you been
when I needed one
to hold
one to love
all my faults
brush me off
when I struggle to rise
again

Now...you come to me
and I know not
how to approach
easy for me to hide
a talent I have
mastered

Amongst the tears
behind the screams
that no one but my
heart and soul
hear

Lies the beat
within
me
the rthymic drum
that is LIFE
Time will come
I
will let go
go of the
fear
that consumes me
and only then
will you be mine
and

I
yours
