__________by Antoinette M.
It's been A long time since in first saw your face
Such beauty and style all wrapped up in grace
Round hips, thick lips and long black hair
I was so amazed I had to stop and stare
The moment you spoke, I heard gilded angels wings
The soft tone of your voice caused instant wet dreams
Even though I didn't know it then looks are not always what they seem
Fast forward a couple of years and it sure can change some things
When we met in high school and you had all the niggas jocking
Everywhere we went you had the whole crowd talking
Little did they know it was I who rocked your world
It's kind of funny now to think that you were once my girl
I said it was love; you said it was lust
Curiosity had you feigning and it was all about the bust
You would kiss me in the bathroom with one eye over your shoulder
To have somebody see us meant your social life was over
So with whispered words and quick touches I had you on the brink during school lunches
Making you feel like no man could; giving it to you the way they should
I remember licking your body in a bathroom stall and stealing a caress in an overcrowded hall
Most of all I remember the words you said that brought us to an end:
I've decided I'm not gay because it's a sin.
I hope I didn't hurt you; Can we still be friends?
I walked away that day with my eyes full of tears
My sadness didn't last for long
On to the college years….
