__________by Ann Roberts

We could be friends
Hanging out at the mall
Eating lunch together
Telling each other secrets
Just don't say you love me, when you don't
We could be lovers
Walking hand in hand
Whispering into each other's ear
Making love on the beach

Just don't say you love me, when you don't
We could be married
Living in our huge house
With our successful careers
Making a future for ourselves
Just don't say, you love me, when you don't
We could be anything we want to each other
But if you don't love me, don't say it
Because it hurts me
And, makes you a liar
So don't!
