Colette....
I picture you and I as rest,
Me on my back, your head on my breast,
So serene, don't ever end,
And we've become, much more than friends
You don't have to speak, but I'll shed a tear,
The feeling inside, is almost like fear,
Heart racing, nervous, waiting for what?
Nothing to happen, oh, what a touch,
Has me shivering deep within my soul,
I think it would be you, who would make me whole
Is that too much to fill, it doesn't take much,
Continue to be yourself, I'll continue to love,
Your hair, your eyes, your hands, your toes,
Could this mean, now I'm not alone?
Nor are you, to challenge the days,
From beginning to end, joy & pain,
Don't think this will end, I'll go on & on,
Looking at your photo, never completing the thought,
We, Us, You and I, (ok, that's a rick james song)
Together, Mutual, Our's not mine.
