I'm coming over
and you know I will driving my grey BMW
and yes
I'm wearing nothing
I'm coming over
and toting every life I have lived on my shoulders
and I am bringing it to guess avenue
I'm coming over
and yes I will noticed the drawn backed curtains
and I will hear whispers from last weekend's get together
and gathering the same stories of the curious man I don't know
and they have Imagined
I'm coming over and I'm staying
I'm bringing the same laughter that brought your lips
to say my name too often
I'm bringing the same suit that I wore when your friends pretend to
marveled at
I'm bringing all my closeness and all my funny stuff
and all the things that drew me to you for all to see
I'm charming down that avenue
leave the lights
let the phone ring
and yes
let them guess once again....
