Words have left you alone,
easy how somethings came
between us to turn the fire cold...
Thoughts that chase you in the night,
that I'm loving you and other women right.
fucking her in our bed,
letting her pull at the hair on my head
You assumed shyt and I made an ass out of you.
Yet these thoughts continued and
silently they stole the life from your eyes
and you remain alone no matter
who may try to take my place...
no matter who you have at your side
The dreams you dreamed
while laying next to me
The tears I shouldn't have seen
you wiped them away with my sheets
because you thought there was more
to my life than you and me...
Easy how forever turns into never
Easy how "I Do" turns into "I Don't"
Easy how "Fuck Me!!" turns into "Fuck You!"
My pure and simple heart is
shadowed, painted in dark.
and you will always love me
but I can never say the same
You knew it would last but
I'll Remember You.....
