The Kiss
by
Siva

Two pairs of lips
Slightly parted
Hot breath and sticky sweet
Perspiration glowing
Subtle smile
Gentle touching
But the eyes
Volumes can be spoken
In that one quick look
Want
Need
Desire
Hunger
All wrapped into one
How radiant she looks
Quick upturn of the head
Meaningful stare
Both want
Both need
Both desire
Both hunger
And then it happens
That gentle touch
Shivers up and down the spine
Quick breath as realization sets in
A hand around the waist
A hand in the hair
Subtly caressing every curve
And they kiss
Again and again making it real
Love sets in and they are lost
In passionate reverie
Forever wanting
Forever needing
Forever desiring
Forever hungering
For each other
